It’s hard to believe the special week Kathy and I have looked forward to is almost over. We simply have to drive back home to Battle Creek from Roanoke today. But what a special week it was. Seeing our family and several friends, along with our time at Myrtle Beach, was wonderful.
God not only blessed us with safe travel, but wonderful weather and timing as well. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to spend as much time with my sister, she was under the weather a bit. On that note only one other glitch along the way and it was perfect, we had to change our last hotel due to a power outage after a summer storm knocked power off at our original hotel.
It’s so good seeing people back out, living, loving and laughing again. While the turmoil and pandemic we all just endured was at times harsh, especially for many, we must push forward, mindful of those who need our help, and a country that needs prayer. But still this is America, and I’m so proud of it and our people.
Today as you worship and pray please ask God to heal our land, people, and relationship with Him. The bible says that if we will humble ourselves, repent, and ask His forgiveness He will. We have quite a way to go but we will get there. Pray our people will ask God to bless America again,, as we reunite these United States of America.
