Fifth day of Christmas present

Today’s gift along with the gifts from the first four days, which still greatly increases the number of birds, is five golden rings. I did the math and by the end of the celebration, which probably last until day twelve, the true love will have given her 40 golden rings. If they fetch a good price it may offset some of the cost of those birds, and housing lords and maids, then planting some trees. The Fifth day Christmas present did bring some relief, but also more birds.

A different twist (it’s kind of nice at this point)

Remembering—the fifth day of Christmas present—was given to celebrate the coming of our Lord

According to myth, legend or rumor, the five gold rings (fifth day of Christmas present), signify the first 5 books of the old testament. The Pentateuch, which gives the history of man’s fall from Grace and much more, all written by Moses. Moses lived over 1400 years before Jesus was born, who above all else is worthy.

One man, Five books

Five gold rings are an excellent fifth day of Christmas present, while some of the writings of the Pentateuch maybe hard to follow and understand, Numbers and Leviticus, they are truly a gift, the bible when taken as a whole gives us the entire story. Everything we need to know.

We’re wrapping up on the fifth day of Christmas present

But like the True love, our celebration is just kicking into gear. By now the non-fitting gifts have been returned, by most. Now we can focus on the things at hand, like enjoying the peace, what’s left of it. Come back tomorrow and we’ll continue the celebration, by then the true love’s gift for the fifth day of Christmas may very well be hocked in a pawn shop somewhere. Someone has to feed all those birds.
